The idea is simple
Three steps. Keep moving.
Renting and returning a DR Power power bank is straightforward, from collection to return.
01 / FIND
Find a participating station
Once a participating station is installed, tested and listed as available, check its location and status before starting a rental.
02 / CHARGE
Review the tariff and authorise
Read the rental price and any temporary card authorisation shown on the station before approving the displayed amount.
03 / RETURN
Return to a supported station
Follow the return instructions and wait for confirmation. Only a supported DR Power return station completes the rental.
A better experience for both sides
A useful extra for guests. An income stream for you.
DR Power makes portable charging straightforward for guests while giving participating venues a clear share of eligible rental revenue.
↗REVENUE
Earn 30% commission
Receive a 30% commission on eligible rentals through your venue. The partner agreement will set out how commission is calculated and when it is paid.
ϟGUEST EXPERIENCE
Help guests stay longer
A low phone battery can interrupt a night out or a day at an event. Convenient portable power gives customers another reason to carry on enjoying their visit.
↔LESS HANDLING
No phones behind the bar
Guests rent a power bank themselves, so your team does not need to take customers’ phones away to charge them. That helps avoid device-handling worries and awkward disputes.
⌁SIMPLE PAYMENTS
Self-service payment at the station
The planned journey is for guests to complete their rental at the station. The tariff and any temporary authorisation must be clear before they approve. We verify the payment, dispense and return journey before a station is listed as live.
A transparent partnership
The upside — and the practical bits.

Partner questions
The questions worth asking before you sign.
Straight answers on commission, costs, station requirements, guest payments and support. We will put the full commercial and operating terms in writing before a venue commits.
You receive 30% commission on eligible rentals attributed to your venue. Before you sign, the partner agreement will define the commission basis, including how VAT, payment fees, discounts, refunds and chargebacks are treated. It will also show an example calculation so you can see exactly what the percentage applies to.
The payout timetable, payment method, reporting period and any minimum threshold will be set out in your agreement. We will confirm these details, along with how you can query a statement, before asking you to commit. We do not promise a fixed monthly income because commission depends on actual eligible rentals.
Submitting this enquiry is free and creates no commitment. Any hardware, installation, connection, electricity, service or other ongoing cost that applies to a particular venue will be disclosed in writing before you agree. Do not assume a cost is included unless it is stated in your proposal.
We will agree a visible, accessible and suitable location with you. Depending on the station and venue, practical requirements may include floor or counter space, a power supply, connectivity, safe access for installation and permission to position signage. We will confirm the exact site requirements before scheduling anything.
We consider your expected footfall, busy periods, venue layout and available space before recommending a capacity. A smaller installation may suit a compact venue, while a busier site may need more slots. The proposed model and placement will be agreed with you rather than assumed.
The service is designed to be self-service. Guests use the station instructions and complete the rental there; your team should not need to take custody of a guest’s phone, collect card details or process the rental at the till. We will explain any agreed venue tasks, such as helping guests find the station or reporting a visible fault, before launch.
The station must show the venue’s tariff and the amount it asks the guest to authorise before the guest approves the rental. Current configured examples are £1.50 for the first 30 minutes and £1.00 per further started 30 minutes on Standard, with a £10 daily cap and a £15 authorisation; Premium is £8.00 for the first 30 minutes and £2.50 per further started 30 minutes, capped at £35.50 for the whole rental with a £35.50 authorisation. A card authorisation is a temporary hold, not an extra rental fee. The live station display and customer terms are definitive for each rental.
A power bank must be returned to a supported DR Power return station. Guests should check the return instructions shown before starting and wait for the station to confirm that the bank has been accepted. They should not assume that another company’s unit or an unlisted station can accept a DR Power bank.
DR Power records the rental and station events and handles the customer payment and support process. Rentals may be flagged for overdue review after 24 hours and marked lost after 36 hours without a confirmed return; these are operational statuses, not a fee charged to the venue. Any customer non-return settlement is governed by the displayed tariff, the customer terms and the amount the original card authorisation still permits. Venue responsibilities for faults, damage, access and incidents will be written into the partner agreement.
The proposal and partner agreement will name who is responsible for delivery, installation, connectivity, routine checks, fault reporting, repairs, replacement, customer support and removing the station at the end of the arrangement. We will also agree how to handle downtime and who your venue should contact. These responsibilities will not be left as assumptions.
No. Commission depends on how often guests use the service, the agreed tariff and the number of eligible rentals. We will not promise a fixed monthly amount or suggest that a particular result is guaranteed. Any forecast should be treated as an estimate, not a commitment.
Only after the commercial terms are agreed, the station is installed and the payment, dispense and return journey has been checked. We will list a location as available only when it is ready to serve guests. Registering interest does not mean a station is already operating at your venue.
Yes. Add your other locations in the message field and we can discuss a multi-site assessment. For partnership or general questions, email support@drpower.uk. For a customer rental or payment query, include the rental reference and station location, but never send a full card number, PIN or security code.
